La Promenade Waterfront will be the stage for many local artists and band throughout August.

The Chaleur Improvisation League presents their weekly improv match at “La Bibitte du CCNB” where players from all over the province will fight to take home the “Fou Rire” trophy.

August 1st – 4th
Early August is week #2 of festivities in honour of Belledune. Fun, friendship and family: that has always been the Belledune Days theme.
ATV Fun Run at the Supervillage Trailblazer Lodge, Country Hoedown at the Legion Branch, Laser Tag at the municipal Gymnasium, ladies night, card party, Karaoke, Family movie night, Inflatable games, Face Painting, and FIREWORKS.
Fun for all ages at the Belledune days 2019!

August 2nd at 9:00 pm
Four passionate young musicians who won the semi-finals at the “Accros de la Chanson” gala in Edmundston will be performing at the beautiful Coeur d'Artishow.
(Find their song GINETTE on Spotify and follow the band on Instagram @lesananasmusique. )
If you can’t get enough of them, they will also be performing in the Dieppe final on August 15, 2019 and at the Acadian Festival on August 9th!

Beresford’s Festi-Plage brings you a weekend of music, free cake, games and fun for the whole family!
There will be Bubble Football, Jumpaï and bouncy castles, music by Danny Party, Les Zacoustiks, Marc Melanson and the Bandits…and free cake too!

August 5th
The New Brunswick Day festivities in Bathurst will be happening at both Coronation Park and La Promenade Waterfront.
The day will begin with an opening ceremony and free cupcakes! There will be balloon twisting, face painting, inflatable games and much more! Musical guest will be the Windsors and Project Wednesday.
At around 7:00 pm, La Promenade Waterfront will be rocking to the music of Raglan Road!
What a great way to celebrate New Brunswick Day!

August 7th
Performing at Studio 2, Pierre-Bruno Rivard will be bringing his new show "Ma thérapeute est morte" to Bathurst as one of his first stops after rocking Zoofest in Montreal.
Ma thérapeute est morte has been touted as “the perfect balance between heartfelt, emotional and guilty laughter”, and PB Rivard is bringing it to Bathurst using his revolutionary “pay-what-you-want-as-long-as-it’s-at-least-$5” system.
No filters, no taboos, no worries. We’ll see you at Studio 2!

August 8th
Originally from Newfoundland and Labrador, Matt Wright finally got to combine his two favourite things: breweries and laughter.
His Chaleur region stop is landing him at our very own Four Rivers Brewery in Bathurst!
Matt is a Canadian stand-up comedian, writer, actor and director known for his sharp, clean, observational comedy about the struggle of being a person – something we can all definitely relate to.

August 9th
The Too Broke to Party comedy tour featuring four hilarious comics from Toronto touring the Maritimes lands at Studio 2 in Bathurst on August 9th!
Matt Keenan, originally from Saint John, has played at this local venue before…now he’s back with a few friends to show off our legendary Chaleur region hospitality!

August 9th – 10th
In honour of the original Woodstock’s 50th, this year’s Payne’s Party (of Woofstock fame) will be a celebration of music!
It will be a full weekend of great music and free camping, all the while supporting our furry friends at the SPCA.

Sea kayak and/or recreational kayak outing for women, guided by women for ~2 hours on the lagoon in Beresford.

Ever wanted to try sea kayaking? Do you want to feel more confident in your kayaking skills? Want to go out and enjoy a nice paddle on calm seas?
Le Camping is now offering a basic course in Paddle Canada sanctioned sea kayaking (yes, it means you get an actual certificate!).
This 8-hour course is given over two consecutive mornings and is designed for the novice paddler and introduces basic paddling skills, assisted rescue and the necessary knowledge to paddle in sheltered areas.

August 15th
Petit-Rocher
Summer in Petit Rocher vibrate to the colours of the Acadian flag, and this time of year is its apex! The Fête des Acadiens is when the local music, food and culture completely takes over the town.
Activities start on the 14th with some Acadian tales and arts and crafts where you will be getting noise makers ready for the 15th main event: le Tintamarre!
The next day, on the “Quinzou”, part of the Main street will be closed while people flood the streets to celebrate and make as much noise as they can!

Isabelle Cyr returns to the Bistro Cœur d'Artishow, this time to present her show from her critically acclaimed album "Brûle à mes lèvres", as well as other songs from her repertoire.
Isabelle, between her music and storytelling, shows us the world through her eyes filled with poetry, intensity and humour.
Accompanied by Yves Marchand and Nicole MacDonald, her rich and enveloping voice will mingle with piano, percussion, and cello.
Isabelle will surely charm you... and the fact that you get to enjoy it all at the amazing Bistro Coeur d'Artishow will definitely make this a night to remember!
