Thomé Young -- Dans la Vallée

We'd heard about Thomé Young quite some time ago—easily seven or eight years. Thomé Young is the alias of Pascal Lejeune, a Pointe-Vert resident who proudly adopts this name when he picks up his guitar and turns his affable, observational poetry into songs.
It had been quite some time because Lejeune is a man of many projects: musician, cultural bistro owner, album producer, assistant director of the Tracadie cultural society, film composer, carpenter, and actor (despite himself). As a result, after his albums Victoria (2014) and Patsy (2017), his guitar sat in its case for five years while he built a house or worked on construction projects.
And now, he's back with his family stories and regional tales, delivered with warmth and affability, reflecting his deep connection to the local area, to present Dans la vallée (In the Valley), a third collection developed in collaboration with Mico Roy (Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire) and Katrine Noël (Les Hay Babies). Thomé Young has performed nearly 500 shows across Canada, France, Belgium, and Slovenia – after a well-deserved break, and now with his future plans taking shape, he's eager to get back on the road.
