Message from Pabineau First Nation:

What is a Pow-wow? Powwows are considered to be both sacred and social event for traditional Aboriginal families. It is a time to renew our bonds with the beliefs and traditions of our ancestors. It also is a time to enjoy the company of family and friends.

The Pabineau First Nation Powwow is free for all to attend! We do not charge visitors to participate in our annual gathering, as we wish to encourage everyone to attend and participate in this sacred celebration of our culture. This is the one real opportunity that most people have to see real Mi’gmag traditions in action. There is no charge for admission, parking, or camping space. In addition to viewing the dances, visitors can browse through arts, crafts, souvenirs, and food booths.

Please bring your family and friends out to the Pabineau First Nation Powwow. We will be expecting you with a warm welcome!
